• Qin Jiao – chief; Qiang Huo, Du Huo, Fang Feng, Bai Zhi, Xi Xin (dispel wind)
• Si Wu Tang (nourish blood); Shi Gao, Huang Qin (clear heat); Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, Gan Cao

• Dispels wind and unblocks the channels
• Nourishes the blood and clears heat

Wind attacking the channels (channel-stroke): sudden facial paralysis, slurred speech, numbness or limited movement of the limbs, without loss of consciousness.

Tongue: white coat. Pulse: floating and wiry (or thin).

Adjust the wind and blood herbs to the presentation.

For channel-level wind with blood deficiency; manage acute stroke as a medical emergency.
