Indications
Spleen deficiency with poor appetite, fatigue, loose stools and oedema; spontaneous sweating; and restless fetus during pregnancy.
Dosage
6-12 g in decoction.
Common Combinations
With Ren Shen, Fu Ling and Gan Cao (Si Jun Zi Tang) to tonify the Spleen; with Fu Ling to resolve damp.
Cautions & Contraindications
Use with caution in yin deficiency with heat and in dryness.
