Indications

Wind attacking the channels (channel-stroke): sudden facial paralysis, slurred speech, numbness or limited movement of the limbs, without loss of consciousness.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: white coat. Pulse: floating and wiry (or thin).

Modifications

Adjust the wind and blood herbs to the presentation.

Cautions & Contraindications

For channel-level wind with blood deficiency; manage acute stroke as a medical emergency.
