Ingredients

Indications

Severe food and qi stagnation with damp-heat: marked epigastric and abdominal distension and pain, constipation, or dysenteric diarrhoea with tenesmus.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: greasy yellow coat. Pulse: deep, full and forceful.

Modifications

A strong-moving formula; use briefly.

Cautions & Contraindications

Strongly draining; contraindicated in pregnancy and in deficiency.
