Indications

Exterior wind-cold-damp with interior heat: chills and fever without sweating, headache, a stiff aching body, and a bitter taste or thirst.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: thin white or slightly yellow coat. Pulse: floating.

Modifications

Adjust the warming and cooling herbs to the balance of cold-damp and heat.

Cautions & Contraindications

Drying; use with caution in yin deficiency.
