Indications
Qi and blood deficiency: pallor, dizziness, palpitations, fatigue, reduced appetite, and scanty or irregular menstruation.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: pale with a thin white coat. Pulse: thin and weak.
Modifications
Add Huang Qi and Rou Gui (Shi Quan Da Bu Tang) for more profound deficiency with cold.
Cautions & Contraindications
Cloying; assist digestion if appetite is poor.
