Indications
Severe epidemic warm-toxin: high fever, intense thirst and irritability, delirium, dark rashes and bleeding, a severe headache, and a scarlet tongue.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: deep red (scarlet) with a dry coat. Pulse: rapid and forceful (or thin and rapid).
Modifications
Dose adjusted to severity; use Shui Niu Jiao for rhinoceros horn.
Cautions & Contraindications
For severe multi-level heat-toxin; ensure intensive medical care.
