Indications

15-30 g (or more), decocted first for a long time; or as powder.

Common Combinations

With Sheng Di, Mu Dan Pi and Chi Shao (Xi Jiao Di Huang Tang variant) for heat in the blood.

Cautions & Contraindications

Avoid in deficiency-cold patterns.
