Indications
Wind-heat toxin of the head and face: redness, heat and swelling of the head, face and throat, fever, and a sore throat (e.g. mumps, facial erysipelas).
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: red with a yellow coat. Pulse: rapid and forceful.
Modifications
With severe constipation, add Da Huang.
