Indications
Damp-heat in the middle burner: a stifling, painful epigastrium, nausea and vomiting, diarrhoea, irritability, and thirst with little desire to drink.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: yellow greasy coat. Pulse: slippery and rapid.
Modifications
With severe vomiting, add Zhu Ru.
Cautions & Contraindications
For damp-heat; not for deficiency-cold of the middle.
