Indications
Blood deficiency with cold (Chong-Ren) and bleeding: chronic or excessive uterine bleeding, spotting in pregnancy with a restless fetus, postpartum bleeding, and pale watery blood.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: pale. Pulse: thin and weak.
Modifications
With marked cold, add a little warming herb; with heat, this is unsuitable.
Cautions & Contraindications
For deficiency-cold bleeding; not for bleeding from blood heat.
