Stabilise the Yin Decoction

Jing Yue Quan Shu, 1624

• Ren Shen, Shan Yao, Zhi Gan Cao (tonify qi); Shu Di, Shan Zhu Yu (Kidney)
• Tu Si Zi (secure); Wu Wei Zi, Yuan Zhi

• Tonifies the Kidney and qi
• Secures the Chong and Ren and stops bleeding/discharge

Kidney deficiency not securing: uterine bleeding or prolonged spotting, excessive or watery vaginal discharge, a sore weak lower back, and fatigue.

Tongue: pale. Pulse: deep and weak.

With heat, add cooling haemostatics; with marked yang deficiency, add warming herbs.

For Kidney-deficiency bleeding/discharge; not for bleeding from blood heat or stasis.
