Indications
Insomnia, palpitations, anxiety and poor memory; disorientation and seizures from phlegm; cough with profuse phlegm; and toxic sores.
Dosage
3-9 g in decoction.
Common Combinations
With Suan Zao Ren and Fu Shen for insomnia and palpitations; with Shi Chang Pu for poor memory.
Cautions & Contraindications
Can irritate the Stomach; avoid in ulcers, gastritis and yin deficiency with heat.
