Indications
Defensive-qi deficiency with wind-damp/oedema: heaviness and swelling of the body, sweating, aversion to wind, difficult urination, and aching joints.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: pale with a white coat. Pulse: floating and weak.
Modifications
Use Han Fang Ji (Stephania) only; never Aristolochia.
Cautions & Contraindications
For wind-damp/oedema with qi deficiency; not for excess damp-heat oedema.
