Indications
Liver-Spleen disharmony with blood deficiency and damp: abdominal or menstrual cramping pain, oedema, dizziness, and (in pregnancy) abdominal pain; also used in infertility and threatened miscarriage.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: pale and swollen with a white coat. Pulse: wiry and thin (or moderate).
Modifications
With more cold, add warming herbs; with more damp, increase Fu Ling.
Cautions & Contraindications
For blood-deficiency/damp Liver-Spleen patterns; not for damp-heat or excess heat.
