Ingredients

Actions & Functions

  • Dries and drains dampness; strengthens the Spleen
  • Clears some heat (damp-heat skin)

Indications

Damp/damp-heat skin disorders: weeping, blistering, itchy eczema and dermatitis, with a heavy, swollen sensation.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: white or yellow greasy coat. Pulse: soggy or slippery.

Modifications

Adjust the heat-clearing herbs to the degree of heat.

Cautions & Contraindications

For damp skin disorders; for dry/blood-deficiency skin conditions a different approach is needed.
