This is the Luo-Connecting point of the Bladder channel, connecting with the Kidney. It dispels wind, clears heat and relieves lower back and leg pain.
Location
On the back of the lower leg, 7 cun proximal to BL-60, on the lateral border of the gastrocnemius, about 1 cun lateral and inferior to BL-57.
Anatomy
On the lateral gastrocnemius and soleus; the peroneal artery branches; the medial and lateral sural cutaneous nerves.

Indications
Headache, dizziness and nasal congestion, lower back and leg pain, weakness of the leg, and haemorrhoids.
Needling
1.0-1.5 cun, perpendicular insertion.
