Chengshan (BL-57), “Mountain Support”, on the calf, relaxes the sinews, relieves calf cramp and is a principal point for haemorrhoids and disorders of the anus.
Location
On the back of the lower leg, in the depression formed below the bellies of the gastrocnemius when the muscle is flexed, about 8 cun distal to BL-40.
Anatomy
At the junction of the gastrocnemius and the Achilles tendon; the posterior tibial artery; the medial sural cutaneous nerve and the tibial nerve.
