  • Vigorously drains phlegm-heat and water from the chest/epigastrium

Indications

Phlegm-heat chest-bind: hard, full pain from the chest to the lower abdomen that is exquisitely tender and resists pressure, constipation, irritability, and a tidal fever.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: dry yellow coat. Pulse: deep, tight and forceful.

Modifications

A drastic formula; use a single, carefully measured dose.

Cautions & Contraindications

Contains Gan Sui (toxic, harsh) - contraindicated in pregnancy and deficiency; expert use only.
