Indications
Phlegm-fluid in the chest with deficiency and some heat: a stifling, firm fullness of the chest and epigastrium, wheezing or shortness of breath, a dark complexion, and thirst.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: greasy coat. Pulse: deep and tight (or wiry).
Modifications
Add Fu Ling and Mang Xiao for recurrence with harder fullness.
Cautions & Contraindications
Use Han Fang Ji only; for chest phlegm-fluid with deficiency.
