Indications
Phlegm-fire nodules with yin deficiency: scrofula and firm neck nodules, with a dry mouth and throat and a feeling of heat.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: red with little coat. Pulse: wiry and rapid (or thin).
Modifications
Combine with Xia Ku Cao for more pronounced nodules.
Cautions & Contraindications
For phlegm-fire nodules with yin deficiency; investigate persistent lymphadenopathy medically.
