Ingredients

Actions & Functions

  • Dispels wind-cold-damp and transforms phlegm
  • Invigorates the blood and unblocks the collaterals

Indications

Chronic painful obstruction with phlegm and stasis: long-standing fixed joint and limb pain, numbness, and difficulty moving, worse with cold.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: dark or purplish with a white coat. Pulse: wiry or choppy.

Modifications

Taken as pills with warm wine.

Cautions & Contraindications

Contains processed aconite (Chuan/Cao Wu) - use only properly prepared, correct doses; contraindicated in pregnancy and heat patterns.
