Indications

Wind-damp with blood stasis: chronic lower back, hip and leg pain, sciatica, and painful obstruction that is worse at night or with damp, often with some blood deficiency.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: dark or purplish with a greasy coat. Pulse: wiry or choppy.

Modifications

Adjust the wind-damp and blood-moving herbs to the presentation.

Cautions & Contraindications

Contraindicated in pregnancy; for mixed wind-damp/stasis patterns.
