Indications
Damp obstructing the Spleen and Stomach: epigastric and abdominal distension and fullness, poor appetite, nausea, heaviness, fatigue and loose stools.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: white, thick, greasy coat. Pulse: moderate or slippery.
Modifications
Add Shen Qu and Mai Ya for food stagnation; the base of many damp formulas.
Cautions & Contraindications
Drying; not for yin or fluid deficiency.
