Indications
Middle-burner deficiency-cold: abdominal pain relieved by warmth and pressure, vomiting, watery diarrhoea, poor appetite, cold limbs and no thirst.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: pale with a white coat. Pulse: deep and thin (or slow).
Modifications
Add Fu Zi (Fu Zi Li Zhong Wan) for more pronounced yang deficiency and cold.
Cautions & Contraindications
Warming and drying; not for damp-heat or yin deficiency with heat.
