This point, above the knee, is the Xi-Cleft point of the Stomach channel, used for acute stomach pain, breast disorders and the knee.
Location
On the anterior thigh, 2 cun proximal to the superolateral border of the patella, between vastus lateralis and the lateral border of rectus femoris.
Anatomy
Between vastus lateralis and rectus femoris; the lateral superior genicular artery; the anterior and lateral femoral cutaneous nerves.

Indications

With CV-12 for acute stomach pain; with ST-35 and Xiyan for the knee.
