This is the Shu-Stream and Wood point of the Triple Burner channel. As the tonification point it benefits the ears, clears heat and relieves disorders along the channel.
Location
On the dorsum of the hand, between the fourth and fifth metacarpal bones, in the depression proximal to the fourth metacarpophalangeal joint.
Anatomy
Between the fourth and fifth metacarpals, on the interosseous muscle; the dorsal venous network and the dorsal metacarpal artery; the dorsal branch of the ulnar nerve.

Indications
Tinnitus and deafness, headache, red and painful eyes, sore throat, febrile disease, and pain and contracture of the fingers, hand and arm.
Needling
0.3-0.5 cun, perpendicular insertion.
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion.
Point Combinations
With SJ-17 and SI-19 for ear disorders; with GB-41 for the Dai Mai and ear.
