SI-13 Quyuan

Quyuan (SI-13), “Crooked Wall”, on the medial scapula, activates the channel and relieves pain and stiffness of the scapula.

Location

On the scapula, in the depression at the medial end of the suprascapular fossa, midway between SI-10 and the spinous process of T2.

Anatomy

In the trapezius and supraspinatus; the descending branch of the transverse cervical artery and the suprascapular artery; the accessory and suprascapular nerves.

Needling

0.5-1.0 cun, perpendicular insertion.
