On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 7 cun proximal to the prominence of the medial malleolus, on the medial border of the tibia.

On the medial surface of the tibia; the great saphenous vein and posterior tibial vessels; the saphenous nerve.

Indications
Acute pain and distension of the lower abdomen, hernia, excessive uterine bleeding, lochiorrhoea, and diarrhoea.
Needling
0.3-0.5 cun, transverse or oblique insertion along the tibia.
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion.
Point Combinations
With SP-1 and SP-10 for uterine bleeding; with LV-1 for hernia.
