Location

On the lower abdomen, anterior and inferior to the ASIS, 0.5 cun inferomedial to GB-27.

Anatomy

On the oblique muscles; the superficial and deep circumflex iliac arteries; the ilioinguinal nerve.

Indications

Prolapse of the uterus, abnormal vaginal discharge, lower abdominal pain, oedema, and hernia.

Needling

0.8-1.2 cun, perpendicular or oblique insertion towards the pubic symphysis.

Moxibustion Suitability

Suitable for moxibustion.

Point Combinations

With GB-26 and DU-20 for uterine prolapse.
