Location

On the lower abdomen, anterior to the anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS), 3 cun inferior to the level of the umbilicus.

Anatomy

On the oblique muscles; the superficial and deep circumflex iliac arteries; the iliohypogastric nerve.

Indications

Abnormal vaginal discharge, lower abdominal pain, hernia, and constipation.

Needling

0.8-1.2 cun, perpendicular insertion.

Moxibustion Suitability

Suitable for moxibustion.

With GB-26 and GB-28 for vaginal discharge and lower-burner disorders.
