Gall Bladder 10 (GB 10) Fu Bai 浮白 — Floating White

Location

On the head, posterior and superior to the mastoid process, on the curved line connecting GB-9 and GB-12, at the junction of its upper and middle thirds.

Anatomy

On the auricularis posterior; the posterior auricular artery and vein; the greater and lesser occipital nerves.

Indications

Tinnitus and deafness, headache, neck pain and stiffness, goitre and scrofula, and toothache.

Needling

0.3-0.5 cun, transverse insertion.

Suitable for moxibustion.

With GB-12 and SJ-17 for ear and neck disorders.
