Indications

Liver-Kidney deficiency affecting the eyes: dry, gritty, tired or photophobic eyes, blurred or weak vision, and excessive tearing in wind.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: red with little coat. Pulse: thin.

Modifications

For marked deficiency fire, combine with Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan.

Cautions & Contraindications

Cloying; use with caution in Spleen deficiency with loose stools.
