Indications
Sudden qi and yang collapse: cold limbs, profuse sweating, a pale complexion, shallow breathing, and a faint, fading pulse (e.g. shock, severe collapse).
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: pale. Pulse: faint, on the verge of expiring.
Modifications
An emergency formula; ensure conventional resuscitation/critical care.
Cautions & Contraindications
For true qi-yang collapse; not for heat with false-cold. Use prepared Fu Zi.
