Indications

Atrophy disorder from yin deficiency with damp-heat: weakness and wasting of the legs and feet, soreness and weakness of the lower back and knees, and difficulty walking.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: red with little coat. Pulse: thin and rapid.

Modifications

Use a sustainable substitute for tiger bone (e.g. Gou Gu); tiger products are illegal.

Cautions & Contraindications

For yin-deficiency atrophy; not for atrophy from Spleen qi deficiency or pure damp-heat.
