Indications

Kidney yang and essence deficiency with impotence and weak lower back and knees; atrophy and weakness of the sinews and bones; and constipation from dryness in the deficient.

Dosage

6-15 g in decoction.

Common Combinations

Often paired with Rou Cong Rong for yang deficiency with constipation.

Cautions & Contraindications

Avoid in yin deficiency with heat, damp-heat, and loose stools.
