Indications

Cold phlegm-fluid in the Lung: cough with copious thin, watery, white sputum, a stifling chest, and a cold sensation, worse in cold weather.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: pale with a white slippery coat. Pulse: wiry and slippery.

Modifications

With wheezing, add Ban Xia.

Cautions & Contraindications

Warming and drying; not for phlegm-heat or dry cough. Use Xi Xin in small dose.
