Indications
Yin and blood depletion stirring wind (late warm disease): tremor, spasm or twitching of the limbs, weakness and emaciation, a dry red tongue, and a faint pulse.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: deep red with little coat. Pulse: thin, weak and rapid.
Modifications
For milder cases, Xiao Ding Feng Zhu or San Jia Fu Mai Tang.
Cautions & Contraindications
For deficiency (empty) wind; not for excess wind from Liver yang or phlegm.
