Indications
Spleen yang deficiency failing to hold the blood: chronic blood in the stool, blood in the urine, or uterine bleeding, with pale watery blood, cold limbs, a wan complexion and fatigue.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: pale with a white coat. Pulse: deep, thin and forceless.
Modifications
Substitute Chi Shi Zhi if Zao Xin Tu is unavailable.
Cautions & Contraindications
For deficiency-cold bleeding; not for bleeding from heat or stasis.
