Indications
Exterior wind-cold-damp with qi deficiency: chills and fever, no sweating, stiff aching head and body, cough, a stifling chest; and early dysentery with exterior signs.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: white greasy coat. Pulse: floating and soggy (or weak).
Modifications
Omit Ren Shen (Jing Fang Bai Du San) when there is no deficiency.
Cautions & Contraindications
For exterior excess with deficiency; not for interior heat patterns.
