- Wu Zhu Yu & Gui Zhi (warm, disperse cold)
- Dang Gui, Chuan Xiong, Bai Shao, E Jiao, Mai Men Dong, Mu Dan Pi (nourish/cool the blood)
- Ren Shen, Gan Cao, Sheng Jiang, Ban Xia (support the middle)

Indications
Deficiency and cold of the Chong and Ren with blood stasis: irregular menstruation, chronic uterine bleeding or spotting, cold lower abdomen, infertility, and dry lips and mouth.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: pale or dull. Pulse: thin, wiry or hesitant.
Modifications
With more cold, increase Wu Zhu Yu and Gui Zhi; with more stasis, add Tao Ren.
Cautions & Contraindications
For cold-deficiency patterns with stasis; not for damp-heat or excess heat in the lower burner.
