Indications
Blood stasis of the chest: stabbing chest pain in a fixed location, chronic stubborn headache, palpitations, irritability and mood swings, and dark menstrual blood with clots.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: dark or purplish, possibly with stasis spots. Pulse: choppy or wiry and tight.
Modifications

Cautions & Contraindications
Contraindicated in pregnancy and in heavy menstruation/bleeding.
