Location

On the head, posterior and superior to the mastoid process, on the curved line connecting GB-9 and GB-12, at the junction of its middle and lower thirds.

Anatomy

On the mastoid; the posterior auricular artery and vein; the greater and lesser occipital nerves.

Indications

Tinnitus and deafness, headache, pain and stiffness of the neck, and dizziness.

Needling

0.3-0.5 cun, transverse insertion.
