This is the He-Sea and Earth point of the Triple Burner channel. As the sedation point it clears heat, transforms phlegm, dissipates nodules and benefits the elbow.
Location
On the posterior aspect of the elbow, in the depression approximately 1 cun proximal to the olecranon, when the elbow is flexed.
Anatomy
In the tendon of triceps brachii; the middle collateral artery; the posterior antebrachial cutaneous nerve and the muscular branch of the radial nerve.

Indications
Scrofula and phlegm nodules, migraine, pain of the elbow and arm, epilepsy, and mental-emotional disorders.
Needling
0.5-1.0 cun, perpendicular insertion.
Moxibustion Suitability
Suitable for moxibustion.
Point Combinations
With LI-11 and SI-13 for scrofula; with GB-8 for migraine.
