Location
On the dorsum of the foot, between the first and second toes, proximal to the margin of the web, at the border of the red and white skin.
Anatomy
Between the first and second toes; the dorsal digital artery; the dorsal digital nerves from the deep peroneal nerve.

- Subdues ascendant Liver yang and extinguishes wind
- Cools the blood and stops bleeding

Indications
Headache and dizziness, red and painful eyes, hypertension, irritability and outbursts of anger, insomnia, menstrual disorders and uterine bleeding, painful urination, and epilepsy.
Needling
0.5-0.8 cun, oblique insertion proximally.
Moxibustion Suitability
Moxibustion is generally not used, as this is a fire-draining point.
Point Combinations
With GB-20 and DU-20 for Liver yang headache; with LV-3 to subdue Liver fire.
