Indications

Qi stagnation with multiple constraints: stifling, distended chest and epigastrium, belching, acid regurgitation, nausea, and reduced appetite.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: greasy coat. Pulse: wiry.

Modifications

Increase the herb matching the predominant constraint (e.g. more Zhi Zi for fire).

Cautions & Contraindications

For constraint/excess; use with caution in marked deficiency.
