Indications
Smouldering (lurking) Lung heat: cough, wheezing, skin that feels hot to the touch (worse in the afternoon), and possibly a low fever.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: red with a yellow coat. Pulse: thin and rapid.
Modifications
With more heat, add Huang Qin; with dryness, add Mai Men Dong.
Cautions & Contraindications
For Lung heat from deficiency/smouldering; not for wind-cold cough.
