Indications
Damp obstructing the Spleen and Stomach: watery diarrhoea, abdominal distension and fullness, reduced appetite, scanty urination, and a heavy sensation.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: white greasy coat. Pulse: moderate or soggy.
Modifications
With cold, add Gan Jiang; with food stagnation, add Shan Zha and Shen Qu.
Cautions & Contraindications
For damp/cold-damp diarrhoea; not for damp-heat dysentery or fluid deficiency.
