Ingredients

Indications

Lung abscess: cough with foul, purulent (and sometimes blood-streaked) sputum, chest pain, fever, and a dry mouth.

Tongue & Pulse

Tongue: red with a greasy yellow coat. Pulse: slippery and rapid.

Modifications

Combine with Jie Geng and Yu Xing Cao for marked pus and heat.

Cautions & Contraindications

For Lung abscess phlegm-heat; ensure appropriate medical care for serious infection.
