Indications
Lung-Stomach yin deficiency: a dry cough with little sputum, a dry mouth, throat and lips, thirst, and possibly a low-grade fever.
Tongue & Pulse
Tongue: red and dry with little coat. Pulse: thin and rapid.
Modifications
With more heat, add Di Gu Pi.
Cautions & Contraindications
For yin-deficiency dryness; not for cough from cold-damp phlegm.
